Budding young dancers from a Southampton dance school have jigged their way from Never Never Land to one of London's most famous theatres - and received a spooky good luck message from Phantom of the Opera.
Pupils at the Jane Mackinnon School of Dancing, near Rownhams, were chosen to perform at the Young Performers Variety Show held at Her Majesty's Theatre in the heart of the West End.

The excited pupils used the changing rooms belonging to the stars of the hit show Phantom of the Opera.
"The Phantom had even left a good luck message in the changing rooms for the kids," said Jane . "They were so awe struck by the whole place. Fortunately, even the pretend dead bodies hanging in the wings that are used in the Phantom didn't put them off their steps!"
