We have started a musical theatre class on a Saturday morning at Horns Drove Community Centre. Come along for a fun filled class to learn the songs and dances from the musicals. So come along for a Free trial session.

Summer School will run from 30th July to 3rd August 2012. Booking forms are avaliable here. or in class. This year we are doing Hans Anderson, a collection of well known stories by the world famous writer. If you would like more info please contact us or ask in class. Summer School welcomes those from outside our school, so if you would like to join in on a week of Dance, Drama, Singing and fun then send in a booking form, and we'll contact you.
Everyone is welcome to free tasters of additional dance genres prior to committing to a term of lessons. Alternatively, if you no longer wish to attend a class or classes please let us know in advance and then complete the current term, Lessons not taken will still be charged.
The Jane Mackinnon School of Dance provides classes for all ages and levels. We aim to see some of our students progress to become professional dancers, whether in a certain genre or as all round performers, maybe become a teacher or as for most just have fun and keep fit.
Joining a dance class is a great way of making new friends whilst learning a skill. We want everyone to get the most enjoyment from their dancing, so we are
happy to offer advise on the best class for you, please get in touch and we can help.Our under 5’s classes introduce children to the creative world of dance, with lessons aiming to introduce the joy of movement, rhythm, imagination and sparking their creativity whilst learning to interact and co-operate with others.
Primary and Junior classes follow the ISTD examination board, helping perfect the technical aspects of Ballet, Modern, Tap and Jazz. These are aimed at beginners and children under 11.
After taking their exams or coming up to required level our pupils can then move onto the higher grades where exams become more important and we concentrate on developing technique and confidence as a performer and dancer.
